Matter standard: smart for all Smart Home devices
Are you a committed Apple fan and use Apple Home? You won't let anything come of Samsung Smart Things? Is Amazon Alexa your favourite standard? Great news: Because now you can also use our WLAN garden spotlight across all manufacturers. With Matter Smart Home, it doesn't matter which Smart Home system you use – you can set up your smart devices in any app and you don't need any special additional apps. You will find a QR code on the smart garden spotlight: All you have to do is scan it and the WLAN garden spotlight will connect directly to the Matter Smart Home.
Smartphones running iOS operating systems 16.1 and later or Android version 13 or later have this function integrated automatically. Devices and suppliers that have previously worked with a gateway will continue to require this, such as Apple HomePod, Google Nest Hub. The Smart Home devices from Hama of course work gateway-free, as before, so without an additional hub.

This is made possible by the IP65 protection class, which protects against water jets from all directions. Then use the Hama Home app and simply choose your favourite colour for a good mood from 16 million colours or start a smart colour frenzy right away. It is just as easy to set a time control via the app – i.e. when the smart garden lighting should switch on and off – or to dim the garden light.
Control smart light by voice
When the Perseids fall over your garden in August, a short voice command is all it takes to switch off the outdoor spotlight and enjoy the shooting stars in all their glory. You can also switch on the garden light conveniently via voice control from your living room – simply instruct Alexa, for example, and your garden will become a highlight. Create an atmospheric lighting atmosphere with the garden spotlight in combination with a smart WLAN LED lamp: when you dim the WLAN LED lamp in the living room, the smart colour frenzy begins in the garden and your trees shine in a riot of colour changes. As soon as you switch the WLAN LED lamp to daylight, the garden light switches off.

Geofencing
Geofencing makes smart control of garden lighting even easier: All you need is the location function on your smartphone. The garden light switches on or off automatically as soon as you enter or leave your property within a defined radius (at least 100 metres).
