Letting the little ones discover the world on their own is now much easier for parents with the Hama smart watch for children. GPS tracking, SOS emergency call, call function and geofencing offer parents secure monitoring – but for children, they represent a great deal of freedom.
Smartwatch for kids: Let yourself be discovered. Stay connected
Walking the way to school alone for the first time? Finally going to sports training without mom or dad? Visiting your girlfriend two streets away? As parents, you understand your child's desire to be on the road independently. But as parents, you are also worried, of course. With the Hama smartwatch for children, we give you a bit of security at your child's hand: Give your child freedom and still have an eye on it - without having to buy your child a mobile phone.
Track your live location with GPS tracking
You can use the Hama Protect app on your mobile phone to track where your child is at any given time. Is it still going directly to the sports hall or has it turned off because it is distracted? Will it find its way back on the right path? The app keeps you in touch with the children's smartwatch and thus with your child – and this helps you to develop confidence in your child and his or her decisions. If it turns out that your child can't find the way on their own, you simply pick them up in the wrong street, walk the path with them and let them try again on their own next time. With real-time monitoring via the GNSS and LBS GPS systems as well as Wi-Fi, you know where your child is at all times. Different GPS systems also guarantee location in difficult terrain such as dense urban development. If you already have enough confidence in your child's independence, you can only display the location every 10, 20, 30 or 60 minutes.
Even more security with SOS function
Your child stumbles on the way to a friend's house and hurts himself? Isn't he afraid to go home alone after training? Then all your child has to do is press the red SOS button. Thanks to the red marking, even smaller children easily understand which button to press. Three emergency contacts are stored on the smartwatch for children via the Protect app, e.g. mother, father and grandma, all three of whom are called in parallel via video call - when the button on the children's watch is activated. If one person can be reached, the other emergency contacts receive a push notification. With the SOS button of the children's smartwatch, your child gains more self-confidence, because he or she has the security of being able to reach his or her most important trusted persons at any time.
Geofencing: define safe areas
Your child promised you that he would only stay on the sports field or on the playground? But then something exciting happens: The friend is waiting outside with his new bike, the neighbor with the dear dog walks past the playground - and poof, the child is out of the promised safety zone. Without you noticing. If your child has the Hama children's smartwatch, you can use geofencing to store safe areas in the app. If your child enters or leaves this safe zone, the stored contacts receive a push notification and can decide what to do. Petting the dog at the edge of the playground is okay, but not setting off on a spontaneous bike ride with your friend - so the children's watch gives you the opportunity to talk to your child about these situations.
Smartwatch at school
Teachers don't like older students when cell phones and smartwatches interfere with lessons - students often have to hand in the devices during this time. Small schoolchildren are also much easier to distract - but not by the children's watch. This is because the children's smartwatch has a so-called school mode, which can be set for times when the child should be fully concentrated, such as in class, homework or at music school. During these school modes, only the time can be read on the Kids-Watch. The SOS button can also still be activated.
Parental monitoring with voice and video call function
Your child has arrived at the sports field, but since this is the first time he has walked this way alone, you want to be sure that everything went well. Then just give your child a call. Your child is so engrossed in playing with the girlfriend that he or she hasn't contacted us for a long time - then send a voice message. Your child can just as intuitively reply with a voice message or send an emoji. This works especially well with smaller children who can't read and write at all or not so well. This way, you not only stay connected to your child via GPS, but also via the call function.
Made for kids, made for everyday life
The children's smartwatch with silicone strap feels comfortable on the wrist, the bracelet and smartwatch are narrow so that nothing disturbs the children while wearing them. In addition, the children's watch is suitable for everyday use and, thanks to its IP67 protection class, can also withstand a football match in the rain and the sandpit bakery in the mud kitchen. The large display on the display and the reduction to the most important functions make the smartwatch intuitive for children. The AMOLED display and the 2 MP camera enable razor-sharp video telephony and make it fun for the child to take pictures. By the way: You can track all your children via the app, several watches are supported at the same time. And how nice is it when your child comes home in the afternoon and beams with joy and reports how great it was to be allowed to train alone and the pedometer even shows a whole 1500 steps?
Conclusion
Freedom for your child and fewer worries for you - this is what the smartwatch for children combines in a smart way. It accompanies small adventures, strengthens self-confidence and keeps parents and children in contact reliably. In this way, independence becomes a feeling of security step by step - for both sides.

FAQs
Velký displej a intuitivní navigace v menu usnadňují ovládání dětských hodinek. Děti mohou rodičům posílat hlasové zprávy přirozeně, takže zatím není nutné, aby dítě umělo psát. Tlačítko SOS je označeno červenou barvou signálu a lze jej aktivovat jedním stiskem, takže dítě nemusí dlouho hledat správnou funkci v menu.
Mohu nechat své dítě sledovat i jiní pečovatelé než rodiče přes aplikaci Hama KidGuard?
