Terms of Warranty: Memory Cards and USB-Sticks


Hama GmbH & Co KG guarantees that Hama memory cards and Hama USB sticks willremain free of defects in material and workmanship for the applicable warranty period. If your Hama memory card or Hama USB stick does not work properly during the defined warranty period due to a defect in the material or workmanship, we will either repair it or replace it with a product of equalvalue at our discretion, at no charge to you.

You can call up the detailed product-specific warranty conditions for the item you have purchased by entering the article number attached to the product or by entering the EAN code on this website and, if desired, save them for your documentation or print them out if necessary. Please always consider the associated environmental impact before printing!

This warranty begins on the date of purchase of this Hama product and is valid throughout the EU.

If material or manufacturing defects occur during the warranty period which are to be considered a warranty claim, Hama GmbH & Co KG will remedy the defect free of charge by repairing or replacing the product with an equivalent item at the discretion of Hama GmbH & Co KG.

You are entitled to the warranty granted in addition to the statutory, gratuitous warranty rights which you must assert vis-à-vis your seller. Any existing statutory, gratuitous warranty rights against us shall also remain unaffected by this warranty promise.

Nor will Hama be held liable for damage, modifications or losses of any kind due to improper installation or use, use of third-party devices, or system problems. This warranty excludes any and all software from third parties, connected third-party devices and stored data. Hama is not liable for other costs that are incurred while determining the cause of system problems.

Please understand that Hama GmbH & Co KG may refuse to honour the guarantee without providing proof of purchase, as the proof is used to calculate the guarantee period.

The guarantee only applies to non-commercial use of our product.

In the event of damage caused by force or by improper handling, as well as in the event of interventions or repairs by the customer or third parties without the prior written consent of Hama GmbH & Co KG, the warranty shall become null and void.
Damage not covered by this warranty can be repaired against payment of the repair costs either through your seller or through Hama GmbH & Co KG.
