  Get Into the Zone
  
  Featuring Heart Rate Zone Alert which can be toggled on/off as desired, the watch (in this mode) not only reads your current heart rate but can compare it to your estimated maximum heart rate (EMHR) based on your inputted age and gender in order to calculate relative Heart Rate. This is displayed on the watch face as a user friendly, readable percentage, something which can be useful in assessing the overall cardio-fitness of a person. In addition, Heart Rate Zone Alert also has a number of other useful applications by being set to sound an alarm when heart rate falls out of a ‘target zone’ e.g. which may be necessary as part of a regimented training regime or when for health reasons heart rate should not be pushed above a specific level. Once the alarm sounds user can then take the appropriate action to correct heart rate to the desired level e.g. speeding up the exercise pace.
  
  
  Keep Good Time
  
  In Stopwatch Mode the watch measures 2 different periods of elapsed time: elapsed time and accumulative elapsed time at an accuracy of 1/100 seconds up to a maximum range of 99hours, 59minutes and 59 seconds beyond which it resets back and begins counting from 0. This is ideal for timing laps or time spent on different equipment in gym etc. as well as for monitoring the total time spent exercising. The Timer Mode also allows a countdown timer to be set which can be used for similar purposes, to set a target for completing a lap or controlling the amount of time spent at a certain pace or performing a certain type of exercise.
