Our docking station for the laptop is not only a true port replicator with its twelve connections, but also supports your ergonomic workstation. All you need is a USB-C socket or a Thunderbolt port to connect the "Connect2Office Stand" docking station to your notebook.

Our multi-port docking station gives you more connection options. For example, you can connect a projector, monitor, printer, speakers, keyboard and mouse to the additional ports at the same time as charging the notebook battery. Large distances between the slots allow you to connect wide plugs without any problems. This can be tilted when open and thus takes up the position that gives you the best view of your laptop in an ergonomic pose that is relaxed for your neck and back. Everyone knows about worn-out plugs and sockets - that's precisely why we have an angled USB-C plug so that this doesn't happen. The angled plug reduces the lever effect and thus avoids a worn-out USB-C socket. Pulling the cables as far as they will go to fit into the unit? In the long run, this will break the cable and the socket, and won't do anyone any good. So that you can use our docking station in a relaxed manner, the USB cable is extra-long and the USB-C port is centrally located - so the Connect2Office Stand works with all notebooks, regardless of whether the USB-C port is on the left or right.

What's the maximum weight my laptop can have for the USB-C hub?
The laptop stand is totally compatible with the weight of all standard notebooks with a display size up to 15.6"/39.62 cm.
Can I also stream/play movies via the docking station?
Yes, playback on a connected monitor is possible without any problems. However, forwarding the video signal to recording devices is not supported.
Does the USB hub recognise all connections after a power failure?
Yes, it may be necessary to restart the notebook.
My laptop does not have a USB-C port. Can I use an adapter?
No, the docking station is only suitable for use with notebooks with USB-C interfaces that meet the USB specifications and system requirements. Adaptations to USB-A or other connections are not possible.
Is the docking station compatible with laptops from all manufacturers?
The USB-C docking station is not limited to notebooks from certain manufacturers. However, the device must have a USB-C port that meets the USB specifications and system requirements. To use the notebook stand's charging function, your device must have a USB-C socket with "PowerDelivery" (PD). The easiest way to tell this is that your laptop power supply has a USB-C plug for charging your device.
Can I close my notebook and only work via the connected devices (monitor, mouse, keyboard)?
Yes, this is possible. The prerequisite for this is that the laptop does not switch off when it is closed. You can set this in the system settings.
Can I connect 2 or more screens to the MacBook?
The MacBook can only output one additional monitor signal. All other connected monitors display this one additional picture. MST (Multi-Stream-Transport) for connecting several external monitors is only supported by devices with the Windows operating system.
