Retrofitting Bluetooth with the Bluetooth adapter
Bought high-quality True Wireless headphones, but the stereo system is still from your youth or an old collector's item? Transmitter and receiver: wide range of connection options
Receiver mode
Does neither your stereo system nor your TV have Bluetooth? Then you can enjoy the sound from your smartphone, tablet or laptop in the best hi-fi quality without the hassle of plugging and unplugging. The Bluetooth adapter wirelessly connects a cell phone, for example, to two devices. In receiver mode, you can enjoy your favorite hits from your phone on your powerful stereo system, for example.
Transmitter mode
If you're listening to a concert by your favourite band on CD, use the over-ear Bluetooth headphones. If you simply want to clean your home while listening to motivational music, then use the True Wireless headphones. This scenario is also no problem for the Bluetooth adapter with transmitter and receiver. In transmit mode, you can connect two Bluetooth headphones to a stereo system, a TV or a projector. This multipoint connection comes in handy when you're both watching your favorite blockbuster or listening to a live concert. You can still enjoy each other's company, but without the too-silent or too-loud conversations.
Bypass mode
Incidentally, the Bluetooth audio adapter can also be used without Bluetooth. With the optical connection via fibre optic cable, you can enjoy interference-free sound via speakers or headphones, e.g. on your hi-fi system, if you did not previously have the option of an optical connection. This bypass mode also works with the 3.5 mm jack connection, but the fibre optic connection offers a higher-quality sound spectrum.
Specialist mode
Use both inputs and connect your TV to either a soundbar on the optical output, for example, or a pair of Bluetooth headphones in transmit mode. You can switch between the two modes as required - without having to reconnect cables.
It works the other way around, too: stereo on the auxiliary input, TV on the optical input. Now pair two Bluetooth speakers or two Bluetooth headphones with the Bluetooth adapter and listen to the sound through your stereo, Bluetooth speakers, or Bluetooth headphones, as you prefer.
Bluetooth adapter connections
Retrofitting Bluetooth to a stereo system, TV or projector works with the Bluetooth audio adapter via two connection variants: very straightforward and universal via the 3.5 mm jack connection or interference-free via the optical fibre connection. The required cables are included in the scope of delivery.
Bluetooth the quick and easy way
The Bluetooth adapter is powered via the USB port on the TV or stereo system, but can also be powered from a separate power supply unit via the socket. With autopairing, you only need to pair your devices with the Bluetooth audio adapter once. If Bluetooth is then activated, the connection is established automatically.
