The motion sensor then distinguishes between people, animals and moving objects and you will only receive a push notification if people are detected. This is particularly useful if you are using the Wi-Fi camera for security and to prevent burglary and vandalism. - The camera light should be switched on when there is movement.

Everything is fine during the day, but what happens when you're on the night shift? You can use the Hama Home app to set time intervals when the surveillance camera should be active - e.g. only when you are away.
Automations with other Smart Home products
The WLAN camera offers you a wide range of options for linking other Smart Home devices and triggering automations. For example, create a presence simulation by linking the camera to different light sources: if the camera detects movement in the garden at night, your bedside lamp switches on 10 seconds later, then the light in the stairwell, 10 seconds later the light in the living room and finally the garden lighting. So you simulate that someone has woken up and is about to look around the garden. In combination with the automatic recording and the notification function, the surveillance camera becomes an alarm system including a deterrent function for you.
